Key Concepts For My Businesses

PHASE 1: CLARIFY What do you do? I help small businesses expand their reach visibility, by providing professional graphics, marketing, and a plethora of other add ons to leave great lasting impressions.
Who is your target audience? My target audience are small businesses that are in the fitness, nutrition, and non-profit sectors. Do you make the mistake of assuming what people and businesses need? Sometimes, especially when I jump in a conversation and I hear them mention they want a “website”. I immediately start to sell them on how good of a website I can provide without first asking them what they would want this website to do.

Solution: Diagnose

  1. Ask what type of result are you looking for in your business? Are you looking to generate more revenue, reach more eyes, look more professional?
  2. What are some of the things you’ve tried already?
  3. What are you currently good at that you would want to improve?

Example. A) Scenario: Gazelle’s Gifts A non profit organization that helps others by providing assistance to women and children who are in need. They have a small budget but really want to expand into the digital world to reach more people and to look more professional. Diagnosis: What results do they want? expand and reach more people while looking professional. What have they tried? Not much as they are just starting out and have a small budget

What can I improve? I can provide them a website that is affordable while giving them graphic designs to match their brand. I can also provide them higher security and encryption to make them seem more reputable and even give an email as well.

PHASE 2: ATTRACT How intentional are you with your business?

I specifically use IG and direct marketing such as attending business networking events to gauge how I can help others by probing them with questions and looking at what I can create to fit in with what they have. Some of the tactics I can try to attract more clients and eyes are to

  1. Create amazing looking videos (Cooking, product videos, interviews, workout videos)
  2. Follow anyone who may need a website by creating them a simple website and providing them with value. Always remember to build rapport such as first talking to people I am connected with, telling them I really like their work and saw that they have something that I am really interested in and that it would help my portfolio, I’ve already created something but I just wanted to see if you would want to use it for yourself once I am done with the project
  3. Calling Non Profits and offering my services at a discounted rate.

PHASE 3: CONVERT Do you have the systems in place to help you convert people easily?

  1. Direct Marketing (Going to businesses directly, Meeting people in person)
    • I had the issue that many people said they would contact me but ended up dipping out at the last second. Instead I started to implement the idea of using my phone to immediately schedule a meeting using a calendar link saved right on my phone to prevent them from not contacting me back later.
  2. Social Media Marketing
    • Even when it comes to using social media I will immediately try to schedule a meeting with them by at least getting their email.
    • I used to send people a link to have them fill it out themselves. But from now on I will ask for their email and/or phone number so I can email them a link to the appointment so that I can at least have some point of contact with them.
  3. Appointments Scheduled Incite Urgency!
    • So now that I have their attention I will diagnose the problems they are facing and then move onto seeing if they are the right fit for me. Is it a project I am interested in pursing? Voice it if you are. Once I know what issues they are facing and what results they want, I will go through with them to see if I have what they need.
    • See what things I can offer them to spice up the offer, such as free or discounted emails (or extra), get a free domain when paying for 30% of the year upfront, or by offering better encryption to increase credibility (worth $250 a year, you get 30% off)
    • Afterwards, I will get their payment by asking Will you be paying monthly or would you like to pay in full? I need to make sure they sense the urgency.
    • I will need to let them know that I will be talking to other clients today and might not have space until the next time the projects are done. Which last at least 1 month to finish.
    • To make things easier and reduce price negotiations use square to generate packages and style them.
